Truly, As Upstate New York wedding planners, it's part of our job to stay current on which wedding venues are the best choice for every unique couple we work with. We need to be vigilant in making sure that we are always providing the absolute top recommendation for their wedding day. It's one of the reasons they hire us! Today, we are sharing the most intriguing wedding venues in Upstate New York for 2023. We want to help you feel inspired and excited to start touring (and save your date!).
If you are planning a wedding in Upstate New York, we would love to hear from you. You absolutely should not book your wedding venue without expert guidance. You can learn more about our services here, or contact us to inquire about venue research as an a la carte service. Your wedding venue is a big investment. Additionally, choosing a wedding venue that won't work with your overall vision (or total budget!) can make wedding planning much harder than it needs to be. We highly recommend working with a wedding planner before signing that contract!
Audrey's Farmhouse
Audrey's farmhouse is home to a 3000 sq ft greenhouse which has become an absolutely iconic Hudson Valley wedding venue. Highly sought after, the venue fee ranges between $10,000 – $15,000. You also need to consider in-house catering starting at $165pp (with a $28,000 food and beverage minimum). When you rent the greenhouse, you are required to rent all 19 guest rooms. Trust us, it's where your guests will want to stay anyway! For those desiring a full destination wedding weekend, Audrey's farmhouse will host a rehearsal dinner and farewell brunch for an additional charge. This wedding venue is simply stunning and you won't want to leave!
Valley Rock Inn
Currently accepting weddings for 2023-2025, Valley Rock Inn only accepts 15 Saturday weddings per year. Their bread and butter is definitely their “PremiumWeekend Weddings” packages which reserve the venue for three days (and include accommodations for 34 guests). Located only 30 minutes from George Washington Bridge, this weekend wedding venue is perfect for couples who don't want to wander too far from NYC. Pricing starts at $110,000 for 2023 wedding weekends at the time of publication.
Hasbrouck House
The Hasbrouck House is where “history meets luxury” and was recently named by the World Boutique Hotel Awards as “America’s Most Romantic Retreat”. Doesn't that sound like an incredible place to celebrate your wedding? Less than two hours from NYC, their venue fee sits at $15,500. For one-day weddings, the food and beverage minimum is $27,500 for up to 150 guests. For a full weekend wedding, the minimum food and beverage investment is $49,500. Keep in mind, a full hotel room buyout (with a 2-night minimum stay) is required in addition to the venue fee.
Hasbrouck House REQUIRES you to have an onsite wedding planner so if this is a wedding venue you are considering, reach out to us here!

The starting price for everything is $99,582 from December-April or $199,167 for May-November (including the site fee and food and beverage minimum). When you reserve Cedar Lakes Estate, you also need to commit to a 2-night stay in their 36 cottages, houses, and cabins (not included in the starting price) but they make it effortless for your guests to reserve.
