Inspired by the bold pastel art of Wolf Kahn, this art-inspired wedding inspiration is full of color! The color palette was a mix of soft lavenders, jewel-toned teal, and a fun pop of yellow. It’s the perfect palette for any season, from the cool winters to a warm summer wedding.
Kin Event Space made the perfect backdrop for the shoot. Located in Rochester, this industrial venue sits on the edge of the historic NOTA district. A former shipping warehouse, it's open and modern, with lots of light. Laura Rose Photography captured these beautiful images, with amazing attention to detail.
The creative duo of Ashley and Andrea at Louelle Design Studio made the most creative invitation suite! They hand-painted a watercolor envelope opening, and handmade popup menus for each guest. I love incorporating wedding day details in the stationary. It gives guests a little hint of what's to come at the wedding!

When it came to the wedding flowers, I wanted to bring in lots of bright colors, including a pop of yellow. Pistil and Pollen created a bold floral arrangement as our backdrop, filled with yellow flowers and blush roses, with some yellow daffodils. Likewise, our bride carried a bouquet filled with peonies, roses, and lots of color. The dining table had a mauve runner, lavender candlesticks in wooden holders, and organic flowers. Finally, the three-tier cake by Shell’s Sweets tied everything together.
Our bride wore the Sienne gown from Alexandra Grecco, from Lovely Bride in Rochester. This romantic silk crepe gown was absolutely perfect for our floral and bold inspiration. The soft A-line shape and hand-embroidered appliqué details was beautiful. Specifically, the modern scoop neck bodice balanced the fullness of the skirt. Our bride had simple makeup, with a soft up-do. Additionally, our groom wore a chambray tuxedo, with touches of lavender and yellow in his boutonnière.
