about the event
Avanti & Bryan's wedding weekend was inspired by a field of wildflowers along a country road. Early in their relationship, they spent a great deal of time on the road to visit each other, so the wildflowers on these drives inspired much of their design.
The weekend began with a Baraat that walked from the Aurora Inn to the Rowland House where their Indian Wedding Ceremony took place. This was followed by a welcome party also at Rowland House, featuring authentic Indian cuisine..
Our favorite details were the whimsical illustrations designed by Ofelia Botella, the customized match boxes featuring the bride's illustrations of their two dogs, the painting she created of the Finger Lakes for their save-the-dates, and the sketch artist that drew guest portraits throughout cocktail hour and the wedding reception.

Desirée and her team were amazing and handled everything, including many things I didn’t even realize needed to be coordinated. It was also nice how attentive and helpful her staff were during the whole weekend, allowing us to relax, focus on the events, our guests, and just have fun, knowing everything was being taken care of.
"They handled everything — including things I didn't even know!"
