The Lake House on Canandaiuga
Anna & Jake's design was inspired by an elegant fall garden party full of rich, jewel tones. Anna loves gardening and Jake spent time in Ireland, and they both grew up on the water. All these locations played a role in the design.
Both days were distinct but also inspired by their life near the water. Their weekend began with a relaxed, coastal rehearsal dinner and welcome party.
At their wedding, deep purple, mauve, and blush tones gave the palette a rich, fall feel. Emerald complemented the shades of purple, while teal and blueberry added texture and complexity.
Our favorite details in the design wove in their many interests, such as their two dogs, life in the Finger Lakes, their engagement on a sail boat, and the floral lace from Anna's dress.
